About the Contest

In celebration of International Women's Day 2025, we invite high school students from around the world to participate in our International Women's Day Essay Contest. This is an opportunity to express your thoughts, research, and personal perspectives on topics related to women, gender equality, and empowerment. Whether you choose to explore historical achievements, current challenges, or future possibilities, we encourage you to share your voice and make an impact through your writing.

Eligibility

• Open to all high school students worldwide.

Essay Guidelines

• Prompt: Any subject related to women or gender equality.

• Word Count: Between 500 to 800 words.

• Format:

  • The first page must include a heading with:

    • Student’s Name

    • School Name

  • Submissions must be in English.

  • Essays should be original, well-structured, and free of plagiarism.

Submission Details

• Deadline: March 8, 2025 23:59 EST (International Women’s Day).

• Submission Method: Submit

• File Format: Submit as a PDF or Word document.

Judging Criteria

• Essays will be evaluated based on:

  ✔ Originality & Creativity – Unique perspective and thoughtful insights.
  ✔ Clarity & Structure – Logical flow and clear expression of ideas.
  ✔ Relevance to Theme – Connection to women’s issues and gender equality.
  ✔ Grammar & Writing Style – Proper grammar, spelling, and engaging storytelling or argumentation.

Results Announcement

• Winners will be announced on March 31, 2025.

• Selected essays may be featured on our website.
